Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with clients through various therapeutic modalities, working toward their personal goals and mental wellness. Your key responsibilities include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences and support one another in a guided and structured environment.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide personalized therapy focused on the client’s specific challenges, helping them to explore their emotions and develop coping mechanisms.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that encompass their unique needs and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and coordinating care to enhance the overall treatment strategy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults residing in Miami and the surrounding areas, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding for issues faced by this demographic, including anxiety, depression, identity struggles, and other mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in inspiring hope and resilience in clients who are navigating transitional phases in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• A strong understanding of evidence-based treatments and therapeutic techniques applicable to adolescents and young adults.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of experience in a mental health counseling role is required, candidates with additional experience working specifically with young adult populations will be preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the ability to conduct assessments and therapy remotely is advantageous.
