About the Organization\n

At Bright View Mental and Psychological Center, we envision a world where individuals are empowered to overcome their mental health obstacles and unlock their full potential. We are more than a healthcare provider; we are a community committed to transformative care characterized by compassion, integrity, and innovation. Our approach is built on the understanding that addressing mental health needs requires not only expert knowledge but also a profound sense of empathy and collaboration.

Work Environment\n

As a remote organization, we leverage telehealth technology to reach clients across Connecticut without geographical barriers. Our office culture thrives on a startup spirit, with a focus on progress rather than perfection. You can expect a supportive atmosphere that values each team member's contribution, where you will have opportunities to reflect on practices and improve with ongoing feedback.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with us, your daily commitment will involve:

\n
    \n
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions designed to foster a supportive environment where clients can share experiences, process emotions, and build interpersonal skills through peer support.
  • \n
  • Conducting one-on-one individual therapy, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and confidential setting, while developing tailored coping strategies and actionable plans for improvement.
  • \n
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing specific mental health needs and personal goals, and ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
  • \n
  • Utilizing various assessment tools to monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment approaches based on feedback and changing needs.
  • \n
  • Actively engaging with a multidisciplinary team, participating in regular case consultations to provide holistic care, share insights, and enhance treatment efficacy for challenging cases.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 years who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This cohort includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a pivotal role in helping them navigate these challenges, providing not only clinical support but also instilling hope and resilience.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, or psychology.

  • Active and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to ethical practices and evidence-based treatment approaches.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate both within the team and with clients.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n
    \n
  • Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling capacity is advantageous.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • \n
  • Experience working with young adults in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
  • \n
Compensation and Benefits\n

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year, Bright View offers a comprehensive benefits package. This includes healthcare coverage, paid time off, professional development stipends, and reimbursement for continuing education units (CEUs). Furthermore, we provide free clinical supervision to support your growth as a clinician.

We are committed to your professional journey. At Bright View, you will have access to ongoing education, mentorship, and pathways for advancing your career.
