Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage in various activities aimed at improving the mental well-being and emotional health of your clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Lead therapeutic groups that encourage connection among clients, fostering a safe space for sharing experiences and learning from one another.

  • Delivering Individual Therapy: Provide tailored, empathetic counseling sessions to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings, implement coping strategies, and develop actionable plans for change.

  • Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring goal-oriented progress.

  • Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track your clients’ progress and adjust strategies based on their feedback and outcomes.

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, engaging in regular consultations and coordinating care for complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our partial hospitalization program (PHP). This population often faces unique challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life issues. By providing both individual and group therapy, you will help these clients navigate their struggles and promote lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

  • A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in New Jersey.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to form therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this role is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000.
