This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers need manager review if they have only 1 year of experience. May require floating to other affiliated hospitals. No commute is required as the alternate hospital is within walking distance. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIH. Skills required include IV start and telemetry experience. Weekends may be required. Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the fingerprinting process for compliance. This role involves care for step-down/PCU-type patients. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patient diagnoses will include a variety of medical conditions. The patient care setting will involve adults and geriatric patients. Additional unit details include involvement with rapid response teams and interpretation services.
